Guess the spot: Utah Edition

No, it's not in the Swell. Hint: there's a highway (not visible) between where the photo was taken and the cliffs in the background.

Hm... it kind of looks like a photo up from Arches NP into the valley towards Moab, the hidden Highway being 191. The cliffs in the photo are on the west side of Highway 191 ?

Think I found the spot on google earth. Photo taken from a spot up on the rim above the Arches visitor center. Looking across 191, as Titans said.

Yep! @b.shark was a little more specific about it being on the rim above the visitor center, but your answer was close enough for me and you got it first, so you're up again @Titans.

ok, thanks Dennis. I should have recognized it before you gave the highway hint!

Next: What's the name of this hiking route?

Interesting feature nearby: Nautilus?

That was quick! Your turn.
I thought it might be a it harder, as that image was taken along our route from the toadstools trailhead, instead of what I later learned is the more common route from the south.

You and Jo are years ahead of us with regards to exploring southern Utah, your TRs are great inspiration. We actually haven't been to the Nautilus or the Toadstools TH. I didn't recognize the cliffs in the wash with Jo (so that in it self was a hint), but I figured it might be close to Paria and did a quick search online. Several online images looked like the wash that Jo was walking in and especially the cliffs looked identical. A reasonable guess, but this week's unusual luck will soon run out!

NEXT ONE: Since @Jackson and many others wish they were in the backcountry with black striped walls, I figured we could continue that theme!

What's the name of this trail? It goes right through where Rick is standing.
