Could it be Dark Canyon?
No it is not too much. That is the area yes... is it too much to say it is one of the tributaries?
No it is not too much.
Are you asking for a better guess?
Woodenshoe...
Well obviously I walked right by this baby. A couple of times...Yes, and YES!...
Woodenshoe it is.
Down by Mexican Mtn?
Indeed, close enough. I will give it to you but could you help me find the wreck on satellite view?Down by where Black Dragon ends.
Well, the Mexican Mountain road is on the other side of the mountain. The north side. This is on the southeast side. That butte on the left side of the picture is the shoulder or Mexican Mountain.I actually wasn't that close, all I knew was that it was on the Mexican Mtn road, but I got myself all muddled and thought it was somewhere around the head of Black Dragon which isn't even that close. So, you should post another one.
I can't post anyway, as I'm on my iPad with no photos, so why am I doing this in the first place, you ask. I guess just cause it's fun to see how close you get, even if you're not close. But I'm still going to try to find it, now that I know where it is. And if that makes sense to you, you're in trouble.
Came in on the standard approach from I70 to the south. You mean I was close and didn't even know it? No wonder I can't find it on the map. Did you come in from the Jackass Flats side? I originally thought it was the SE side, then decided it was too low.
