Guess the spot: Utah Edition

Low-grade hint: near, but not inside, a national park. More of a locals destination than a tourist thing.

Ok, a broader hint: these rocks (though not this particular view of them) can be seen from UT-24.

Wow, I didn't think this one would be difficult, I feel sure some BCP folks have been to this location. I'll post the answer once I dig up a new photo.

No, give us another shot with a new photo or hint, please. And that gives some more time to @Udink to notice and tell us where it is.

Northeast end of Black Ridge, west of Teasdale? I seem to recall @Seldom Seen Anderson posting a photo from this area a couple of years ago.
Yep, popularly known as Lion's Head or Monkey Rocks or King Kong Rocks. Indeed one of the rocks does look remarkably like King Kong. You are up.

It's a super fun area to visit esp with kids. To get there head west out of Teasdale on 125 S St, then park where the road bends to the south and walk north along an ATV track. Or drive an ATV. I mean, whatever.

I took this on Saturday. Pretty prominent formation in the distance that's named on the USGS topo map.
