I was thinking Zion area also, but then had the idea that it is the falls on Professor Creek near Moab? It's been 14 years though and my own pics of it were trashed long ago as they didn't turn out well. Googled it and there are similarities to images found online, but not definitive. Maybe just a result of high water flow in your image?
