Guess the spot: Utah Edition

A shot in the dark: is this somewhere near the Paria, north of the movie site?

Maybe the photo was non-descript? I would have thought Backcountrypost.com users would have been up the Paria. If not, I was quite delighted with that country for its extended backpacking opportunities. Underloved!

OK, that's telling me that that must be 50 mile Mtn in the distance then. Though it is hard to make out the shape and detail to be sure. I don't think the picture is from a common spot. Working on it....
 
You could be looking down in the side canyon with Bowington Arch, off Escalante River. We were once on our way there coming from Haymaker Bench, but got spooked by an unhappy rattlesnake.
 
that's telling me, then, it's an overland route above canyon tribs on the east side of the Escalante which is seldom visited...
 
I could take a guess but I'll wait. I want to know your route to that spot, though! Or I am just way off altogether....
 
hmmm... this isn't an area I've spent much time in but sounds like we're moving towards Neon or Choprock?
