Guess the spot: Maps Edition

I was going to say Charlotte Dome but there is a road in the picture....

wrong end. the road in the picture rebuffs this Trail at the northern end forcing the northbound zax south(west)bound passing this imposing feature. a much bigger famous monolith awaits your arrival at the finish line just a few more miles beyond.

Everyone forget this post...?.......... Fairview Dome, Yosemite NP.

Sorry, Premier trail is the continental divide trail / USA great divide trail / Canada system.................. ;)

I didn't forget it. I've been anxiously awaiting the correct answer and a new pic. The premier trail that moose is referring to must be the John Muir Trail. The through hike that includes the JMT is the Pacific Crest Trail but it runs through to Canada. I suppose the JMT might be "rebuffed". I suppose the pic could be of Fariview Dome but I would be suprised if the JMT ended in Tuolumne Meadows of Yosemite National Park. Fess up moose droppings, what is it? Then post another please.

If no objections I'll start this back up with this easy Utah canyon. Name the canyon the red arrows are pointing to.

Hint: this peak is unnamed on the USGS topo map, but it's commonly referenced by its relation to a nearby peak that does have a name.

Dennis, I don't know what reference you are speaking about so I am going to name it "Peak Just East of Hayden Peak and Connected To It By a Neck and Standing Proud Over Kermsuh Lake and the Stillwater Fork of the Bear River". Whew....

Peak "PJEHPCTIBNSPOKLSFBR" ?

That's exactly it! :roflmao: I think most folks call it East Hayden Peak. :)

You ever been on top? Hayden is a beautiful summit....

Not yet, but it's on my to-do list along with many of the other peaks in the area. With a new puppy, I'm not sure I'll get out backpacking as much as I'd planned this summer, though.
