From the style of the maps, it looks like Death Valley environs... socal/southern NV, but the SW-NE orientation of the range has me stumped.

I still have absolutely no clue where it is, but I just discovered that there's a range east of 395 called the Skedaddle Range. Fun name!

I dunno how much that's actually gonna help to be honest. Nevada's got 300 ranges and it's blurry enough that I personally can't make out any details or elevations. Basically a range slightly NE trending, called "Mountain" or "Mountains" on the USGS, and it's got a chicken pox of mining claims in the SE corner. Could be anywhere.
