Guess the spot: Maps Edition

Hint: the name of the mountain contains an honorific title for a person. Also, those aren't feet.

The metric measurements and the way the large body of water is situated with the mountains has me thinking Canada, but I'm going to have to take a deep dive in a bit to see if I can figure it out.

I found it but jackson can have it if he figures it out. Looking for the lake shape got me to it, eventually.

Doesn't look like the Madisons, or any other of the SW MT ranges, so I have no idea where to look.

It actually is in a SW Montana range! A spot I wanted to go overnight to earlier this season, but ended up not doing it.

Ahhh. Brannan Lakes and Sailor Lake, Tobacco Roots, just N of Mount JACKSON. I glossed right over this area last night.
You're not the only one. I figured the red line was an NRT so I checked the database and completely looked past the Tobacco Roots.

Your homework is to take that trip and post a TR about it. :D The area looks awesome.
Finally, some homework I can actually be excited about.

It may make a nice early season trip, before the skeeters get too bad. I'll be sure to fill you in when it happens!
