I might have shared this one last time I came across it. A few interesting shapes.
This is looking at CP4. Tumbleweed sadness throughout Chesler. CP3 and CP4 have the brunt of it, buried.
This was Chesler four or five winters ago. Before drought and tumbleweeds replaced the grass.

Well, me again... in the desert.
I went with an eye single to some nights listening to frogs and toads.
So maybe one of my stops was not a normal "stayover" kind of place, but it turned out just right, even though I ended up going alone.

A little desert dessert for my long Thanksgiving weekend.
Thanksgiving night in single digits was cold... it made the teens the next couple of nights and then 25d on Sunday night feel almost balmy
Frigid first day.
A few days backpacking farther south, and then a quick day hike Monday on the way out.
