Just 20 night's for April. That big dummy Putin is screwing up my investment income! Coming off the road, gonna have to get a job maybe for a while. But more time around Cedar Mesa, Temples of the Sun, and Moqui canyon.

28 nights for March. GSENM, GCNRA, Cedar Mesa. Wind and rain and/or snow every 5-7 days. Nice temperatures otherwise. Love the Colorado Plateau.

If anyone wants to keep it going, take the reigns.

February, 14 nights between Grand Canyon-Parashant NM (Parashant canyon) and Mojave desert (Lake Mead NRA, Colorock and Whitney Pocket).

Hint - the final event

The road in was no problem, HC/4wd required. Just slow and rocky. Stayed at the Copper Mountain Mine for 7 days. Lots of relaxing and some day hiking. Slots, narrows, rock art, a flowing spring and an arch. Had a pleasant mellow time. Couple highlights

Long, slow, rocky and steep. Beautiful area, but once is enough I think.

Drove through there last summer. Remember trout and carter (? I think) from the maps. I'll be out of range again for 5-10 days tomorrow afternoon. Seems like a slow thread sometimes, hope that's ok.

Anyone happen to know the condition of the 4×4 trail down to copper mountain mine?

You got it @priz1234. I don't know how to do that linky thing I guess. Oh! It shows up after I post. Thought I was just dim or something. I think most people go for the arches, hoodoos, and via ferrata. But this bench has a few really big potholes.

Further south. Not an area that's really associated with potholes. I'll say Navajo mountain is visible.

Not the waterpocket fold. Good guess though, lots of potholes there, more than a few quite big.

That is a very suiting name I must say. Majestic. Sadly though the usgs moniker for the ridge this bulge is part of is less regal. So what I meant to say was name that ridge.

This shouldn't be hard. Name that rock.

If that's comb ridge I'd say cottonwood wash. Lot's of cool stuff in there. would also explain why it looks so familiar. Lived in bluff a couple years and spent lots of time there.

That far ridge looks so familiar. Is it chimney? Nope. After enlarging for better look, not even.
