Well heck I KNOW this spot.........this is the Santa Clara River Reserve looking down upon the Santa Clara River while seen while Nick was checking out the Petroglyphs.

Hint #2: The name of the lake is also the name of a famous NFL QB.

So far Google has shown me Wilson Lake, Newton Lake, Manning Lake, Brady Lake, Cassel Lake, Bradford Lake, Griffin Lake, Palmer Lake but none of them look right. I'm starting to suspect most NFL QB's have a eponymous lake somewhere... except Brees, poor guy.
