Go north 3 states.Florida
Not technically Outer Banks but very close.OBX?
This is technically a "creek."lake waccamaw
Too far north, but also a national wildlife refuge.Great Dismal Swamp?
I'm slightly glad because I don't think I have any eastern US backcountry photos to post. Haha.Too far north, but also a national wildlife refuge.
Sounds like you're in line for a road trip then!I'm slightly glad because I don't think I have any eastern US backcountry photos to post. Haha.
They don't have to be backcountry... they just need to have something identifiable in a landscape photo!I'm slightly glad because I don't think I have any eastern US backcountry photos to post. Haha.
I don't know eastern trees very well, but I think most of the trees in the picture are cypress trees, maybe some loblolly pines in the distance and on the far right. That's not mangrove in the foreground is it? Probably too tall to be. Scratch that, sounds like they are orange trees
Oh, sorry, your photo appeared later. I was referring to the lighthouse! Mill Tail Creek in Alligator River NWR. But those conifers sure look a lot like FL! I'd assume there'd be more decidious trees three states north. But maybe along water bodies it is mostly conifer...Wherever it is I'd like to be paddling there right now!I don't know eastern trees very well, but I think most of the trees in the picture are cypress trees, maybe some loblolly pines in the distance and on the far right.
I don't think mangroves grow this far north.
