Guess the Spot: Eastern US Edition

They don't have to be backcountry... they just need to have something identifiable in a landscape photo!
Most of mine are from central Indiana where I'm from. And there is a dearth of identifiable landscape features there. Haha.

Sounds like you're in line for a road trip then!
I really am! Haven't been to my hometown since Christmas 2019. Thanks, coronavirus.

That's the one! Though snow had melted/refrozen on the ice that particular day, we've found velvet smooth ice end to end to skate at other times. Follow it up with a lounge on those granite banks basking in afternoon sun is a great memory.

Wow, cool lakes everywhere. In pic 2 is it possible that that distant linear range is the Greens?

So many lakes it's hard to figure out which is which! But yes, think that's correct... The Green Mountains in the far distance of photo 2. Also photo 2 looks in the southeast direction.

I am guessing further south since the ridgetops are so low. But there's 1000 mountains down there and everyone has lakes around them!
Much further south than Lyon Mountain is correct. Sure, lots of mountains and we still have about 995 to visit.... It's in a wilderness with the same name as the mountain and the lake in photo 2.

@zionsky - too far north, but correct with the state! We might have to check Lyon Mountain out one day.
