Yikes, I need help deciding....

Here's a first world problem for you....almost embarassing to share.

I have too many places I desire to visit in my 4 weeks in Utah this April. Only plan thus far is a permit for Thunder/Deer beginning on the 18th at GCNP.

Here's my options:

1. 4 to 5 day backpack loop of Sid's Mtn canyons.
2. dayhikes of non-tech slots, rock art, and reef scrambles in southern SRS
3. Davis-Lavender backpack ( SC 1 through 4 unavailable most likely) I've only gone several miles up each. I've found one way between Davis and Lavender but the ancients must have had other ways.
4. 5 days minimum Cedar Mesa. So much visited over the years yet so much I have yet to see.
5. Great NW terra incognito canyons of Capitol Reef. Difficult access with a Subaru and H2O concerns
6. Silver Falls/Choprock or Scorpion or the like
7. Zion east side scrambles/Mineral Gulch BP
8. Paria Plateau (water dependent) outside of permit zones. Backpack to White Pockets maybe cross the middle exit now that I scouted them from Buckskin bottom
9. Sand Hill Cracks or Dominiguez loop
10. Kanab Creek Canyons

I was thinking some other things but my mind is mud.

Anybody have strong feelings for any of these? I need to retire.....I think my mind is trying to make up for the loss of my usual April travel in 2020 due to the lockdown.

Kanab Creek, Sowatt, Jump-up, colorado river, snake gulch..... Can't go wrong in there. Plus you are already close.. some interesting in Tuckup as well....

I vote for all of #3, #4, #5 and #8. But that's because I'd want to see those.

I'm in Moab and the visitation is starting to pick up, even though it's still Feb. Those in the know (campground manager and various friends here) are saying everyone they talk to is hitting the desert this spring big time. I would recommend going to the most remote places on your list.

I'd go for Cedar Mesa or Capitol Reef and environs, as those are the two I think I'll miss the most now that I'm not close by. Plus, even if it's crazy busy down there, most Capitol Reef backcountry won't be, and Cedar Mesa permits restrict numbers.

For me, you just can't beat the feel of Cedar Mesa. Such an awe-inspiring place with so much to see.

Edit: I guess the same thing goes for crowds with most of your list. You're going to have a great time on any of these. Maybe just draw one out of a hat. Haha.
