I have some friends who bought a similar rig. They sold it because it was too hairy trying to sleep in it when the winds came up. But they are great if you're scared of snakes.

It has a funky cool factor but the opposite of minimalism. After recently giving half of my worldly goods to charity my mindset is; less is more.

And I’m with Rockscipper on getting up there in high wind or an electrical storm. Well grounded has its perks.

I have a friend with a similar style Turtleback off-road trailer. It's pretty sweet and can go lots of places (we took it to the Maze Overlook and Land of Standing Rocks), but it's still a trailer. Towing sucks, IMO.
