I'm thinking of trying this route early next week and wondering if anyone can give me some beta on the route and also on the current conditions (if known).

TIA

So far conditions are looking good. Highs in the 60s. Lows in the low 40s and 30s. No cold fronts coming in, so far. Expect an occasional thunderstorm.

We're heading that way on Sunday too. Will be hiking out of Elk Hart Park Monday morning although not the route you have planned. Still, if you see two border collies stop and say hi

I asked about Knapsack Col in another thread but I don't think anyone has responded yet. I'm also curious about current conditions (snow). I THINK snow line was reported to be around 12,000 ft...??

Please post back here if you get a report in your other thread.
