Willow Gulch is a beautiful Escalante canyon located off of the lower end of Hole-in-The-Rock-Road. Most people hike to Willow Gulch to see the magnificent Broken Bow Arch, but the canyon itself is an excellent destination for a day hike or an overnight backpacking trip, especially when combined with Fortymile Gulch.

I'll update this with any conditions that I see while down there.

Ive heard that because of low water in Powell you can see some pretty neat things in the the lower part of the canyon... Im anxious to see your TR!
 
Whats that canyon coming off the north side of Willow Gulch just before you reach the Escalante?

As far as I know it's just an unnamed side canyon. Looks like a wicked tech slot at the top though. If it is I'm sure it's been done. There are some nasty canyons in the navajo down there.
 
Yeah I'm sure it has been done...what hasn't? I would check usgs.gov to see if it has a name...but...any other good topo sites?
 
that canyon looked awfully sexy as I trampled past it. You'd really need to make it at least a two night deal to get back there comfortably.
