Wildlife is not my photographic forte but while going down memory lane I found a couple worth sharing.

Maybe the best butterfly picture I've taken. Darn things never stay still.

And then an animal I feel honored to have seen in the wild: a grey owl, tallest of owls. I actually ran into two on the hike I snapped this on. So cool.

Those songs are beautiful. I especially love the silent communication as Nate hands you the wand. The sound is too precious to ruin.
 
The Weasel was actually trying to eat the woodpecker. Woodpecker got away though.

Yes that's a European titmouse. We've a lot of birds in the park in the back of the house - and old trees too. :)
 
I was heading up the Devils Garden trail on my way to Double O Arch when I saw this little fella hopping around. He was even chirping like a squirrel. Got to love spring break weekend...
