After a lot of rain and now warm sunny weather the desert is showing some wildflowers in bloom and we even saw a JT with a flower bud :)

Death Valley Superbloom! March 6-9, we lucked out with comfortable temps and beautiful flowers, many different kinds. This was my first time in Death Valley. I will be back!

We were at Zabriskie Point for sunrise and then did the Golden Canyon loop - we were amazed to see these Phacelia lining the dry wash, and then over the next two days we saw this kind of scene more and more
