RBTR got back to me. They recommended Ultra 800 as being similar to Dynex.

Update on my Boot Guard pack repair from ~1.5 years ago. Splotchiness is due to moisture; I just washed my pack. It's still holding up well after 300+ trail miles. I have not yet applied any more coats.

Very flexible. I was having a problem getting patches around pack bottom perimeter to remain in place longer term. Not a problem with the Boot Guard.

This was the aftermath of last year's (mostly desert) backpacking. I am trying out grosgrain ribbon as a pack repair fabric after using it for a few years to successfully reinforce spandex running gaiters. I will probably cover the patches with Boot Guard to increase the abrasion resistance for pack lowers and slots.
