Howdy everyone!
Was planning an off trail trip in March for in The Grand Staircase, but that has been postponed until the end of this month. I'm considering dropping in and heading south near Frisky Creek off of highway 12 but I'm concerned that water will be an issue, and I'm unsure as to whether or not Frisky Creek is likely to be dry near the end of June. I know Frisky and West Deer Creek are the two main tributaries to Deer Creek, so I assume they must have a reasonable amount of water, but I've been hearing that precipitation in the area has been minimal and I'd like to have a better idea of the water situation before I head out...particularly in Frisky Creek. I've attached a photo for reference of the area I am considering exploring. View attachment 89101Any help would be appreciated.
P.S. I did a trip south of the Burr Trail Rd this last October and water was VERY hard to find, aside from in Deer Creek, which was hard to access at times.
Thanks!
