Melanie Sawyer, one of the participants in season 10 of the History Channel show Alone. She was giving a living history presentation at a local historical site (Fort Klock, a fortified homestead from the 1700s), demonstrating and discussing foraging, herbs, medicines, etc. I did not know who she was until someone asked her about the show and she spoke a little bit about her experience. She and her fiancé Brian operate the Thunderhawk Living History School up in the eastern Adirondacks, not far from Fort Ticonderoga.
