To Do in 2022

The only definite thing right now is Yosemite in the beginning of June (taking advantage of Glacier Point Rd being closed for construction)

1) maybe a Western NC bikepacking trip in March (depends on weather and friends)
2) something with my kids in the summer
3) maybe SEKI at the end of July/August

I guess limited goals is a good thing since I got all of these.

1) Yosemite was great in June, also tacked on a couple days at Point Reyes
2) a couple nights the Pisgah NF with friends and bikes was great in May
3) I met my brother in law and his kids in WV for a three night trip in July
4) SEKI in August was great even though the monsoon was terrible (rained every day)

a couple other smaller trips that did not go according to plans were mixed in :)

Need to start thinking about 2023

To do 2023:
1- Continue streak of at least 1 bag night each and every month
2- At least 30 bag nights in total, 31 last year
3- As for places:
-Another trip to Washington, timing depends on if we score any lotteries, otherwise September again (this year planning on two trips separated by a few days working remotely from my buddy's house)
-Take my two oldest to the Winds this summer
-Winter 2 night snowshoeing backpack
-Winter in the Needles, probably Feb
-End of March trip to the desert with my WA buddy, potentially DH since he has never been
-April- Spring Break in CRNP with the kids
-May trip to Maybird Gulch near my birthday (5 years running)
-Memorial Day trip to the desert in a canyon of the Escalante for the frogs
-June mosquitofest to listen to frogs in the Uintas
-Summer trip to one or more of Sawtooths, Bitterroots, or Eagle Cap
-Yellowstone? :)
