Hey, I went through the Flickr album looking for pictures of the gear you found including a tent. I couldn't find them. If they are there which page of pictures are they on? Thanks.

They are on page 12. The sleeping bag has some light blue in it and is located on the edge of the pond, the tent pole sack is in the pond, the tent was back in some light scrub and the ziplock was a little piece from the tent.

I slept until 3:30 this afternoon from 9:15 pm last night! I feel like I've been hit by a truck!

I would if I could. I've got a couple of nice sized blisters on my right foot underneath my calluses. Hopefully tomorrow I'll start getting back to normal. whatever that is! :)
Well now you will listen to your old pal Art who counseled you in this situation and then had to gracefully bail on attending because he was too...... weak...

Good think Ben wasn't here to shame us in person. Course he has had his own misadventures in the Yukon on his 10 million mile ride on a dirt bike to AK. Luckily he made to Anchorage today after I typed him through his difficulties.

You know if you got rid of the old, chubby, slow guy who is always lagging behind in your video, you could probably cut three nights off of your trip! Loved the video @Joey . Thanks for not taking any footage of me while I'm smiling or generally having a good time - it keeps my reputation in tact for at least one more year.

The footage of the bear still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up a bit. I wonder what he thought of us?

I had kind of forgotten how bad the mosquitoes were, especially by our campsite at Douglas Knob. I like that you can see them flying around your GoPro.

Did you not get any footage of the abandoned campsite at Smoke Jumpers? Or did it just not fit in?

I tell @Joey the same thing but I do notice he uses the buddy system when near wildlife.

Smokejumper was cool! Some nice ponds and meadows. Great campsites!

Did you notice how I kept Hugh in between me and the approaching black bear? :) Hugh, on the other hand, started walking towards the bear as soon as I said something, to get a better photo. :scatman:

I took it out of the video, to help cut down on the total length of time. Plus my narration was terrible in that clip. I didn't realize until after I published that you mention finding it in your final thoughts at the end.

I feel like there is something missing from your video. Do you know what it is? Plateau Lake! Imagine some footage from that bad boy. I should have reached down deep and found a way to get there.

How about we come at it from Idaho someday and stand in all 3 states at once?

Something to consider. I think I'll approach it from the Little Firehole Meadows. There doesn't appear to be a whole lot of new growth in the downfall from that direction plus there is a water source along a good portion of the route.
