Thanks for the date of the movie @scatman I was 12 when it was released. This reminded me of the movie "Frogs", also released in 1972. I remember some scenes from the movie, and it was also cheesy, but that one scared the heck out of me. It'd be great to find them on Netflix.

Haven't heard of "Frogs" before. I'll have to check it out.

The scene in Boggy where the monster looks in the window...that's the only part I've seen, that short clip, and I refuse to see the rest because I have an overactive imagination. I can't watch scary movies because they come back to haunt me when I'm camping.

Not sure Boggy would bother me as much today as when I was a kid. My "this isn't real" meter is set on high now.
