Blu sky before and after Druid Arch, but we didn't have blu skies at Druid Arch :rolleyes:. We hung around too long and I cooled down too much. 2 days later I'm still trying to warm up after Sunday's hike to the impressive Druid arch and stunning Chesler park. We have to be in Denver for a few weeks (work distracts Rick from hiking). We decided to go via Crested Butte, warm up and visit a good friend. It's -3F here right now, bhrrrrrr!
Thought about @Scott Chandler and @chandlerwest on the way to Druid Arch. it's truly stunning that @Scott Chandler made it back and forth to Druid Arch in snow and ice some years ago, whoa....!

Shoooot! You went on the one day of significant clouds we've had in a while. Still stunning though, such a great spot.

Happy Thanksgiving to the Scat Family ... no hiking out here in the east ... nice & sunny BUT it's barely 10 degrees with negative wind chills. An early morning visit to the gym had to suffice for calorie burn. :cool:

Sounds cold :cold: - nothing wrong with visiting the gym. It is supposed to start snowing here tomorrow, so we'll see how much we get.

The truth is, it was an oversight on my part. I was in a hurry to post as I was leaving work Wednesday. Maybe I have some full sized ones from this past weekend. I will make those no-extra-clicks-necessary!

I kind of preferred it small size as full size would give me the willies. Hope you don't sleepwalk. :)
