@Artemus . I'm going to have to rain check you. I came down and stayed with my brother, and my niece that I hardly see.

I just noticed the I'm wearing the same shirt as i was in the last post I made here (a year ago). For the record I do own more than this one shirt. It just happens to be one of my favorite.

Yesterday I parked near Keg Knoll and hiked to the rim of lower Horseshoe Canyon (above the Frog/abandoned meander of the Green), and on the hike back to my vehicle I snapped this photo of Colonnade Arch. I got back to the Jeep and found that @Nick, @slc_dan, and @gnwatts were in the area--they parked nearby and left a note for me. I stuck around and had a beer with them and chatted for a while. It wasn't 'til this morning while looking at my photos that I noticed I'd caught them all in this shot (I think Sage and Mya are in there somewhere, too).

NICE! We were walking out toward the edge there looking right at you.

Great day for a hike today here in Salt Lake so I hiked up Mount Wire (Beacon Hill). I did the same hike last Sunday and the wind was blowing pretty hard on top. It was relatively calm today so I climbed the old airplane beacon at the top. I might add that I watched from the top of the beacon an 81 year old lady who was jogging up to the top from the Hogle Zoo side. Sorry @Artemus and @Bob but I've got a new role model now! :)

Did you get her name so we can idolize her? So you climbed the same peak twice in two weeks???

I didn't get her name @Artemus. I was a touch embarrassed to ask her age but I was very impressed with what I saw. Wow, what an inspiration! I hope I'm able to make it to the top of Mount Wire when I am 81. Who am I kidding, I can barely make it to the top now. :)
