Mrs. TractorDoc and I bundled up today and made the hike to Blue Hen Falls in CVNP. I scrambled down to the base of the falls to get a closer look at the icicles.

While I was down by the falls I had a guy with a camera ask if he could take my picture. I think he said he was creating some sort of portrait blog -- he must have been desperate if he was asking to use me as a subject. I figured why not. . . maybe this would be how I get "discovered."
Mrs. TD thought this was hilarious and snapped this photo -- he may have been telling me to suck in my gut here.

After my photo shoot Mrs. TractorDoc and I wandered farther downstream to have a look at Buttermilk Falls -- another interesting waterfall on Spring Creek. It is less known/less visited/less advertised than Blue Hen because it is located outside the park on land owned by a neighboring ski area. Luckily they do not care if people hike over to the waterfall.
