The Last Song Stuck in Your Head on Trail?

As part of my bear deterrent plan I could be heard singing Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire" in Yellowstone last week. My apologies to anyone in hearing range. . . I kept thinking it was rather location appropriate though.

I do that too @Miya -- Not sure if you are old enough to know Johnny's "Five feet high and rising" but on my 10 mile one way hike to the Shoshone Geyser Basin I came up with:

How far's the Geyser Mama?
Six miles away and dropping.
How far's the Geyser Papa?
She said its six miles away and dropping.

I chose to risk my neck
on this Yellowstone trek
If I don't make it back my wife will give me heck
Six miles away and dropping.

There is always more, but I think I've revealed too much already. :)

Oooh that is very good!!!
My songs go something like
"I am hAWwwwwwwWwt
And sweaty!
Why am I out here again?
Step, step, step,
LOOOoOOOK at that squirrel!"

And I just go on and on singing what I experience, out loud LOL

I'm usually saying those things too but that is when I'm carrying on a conversation with myself. Sometimes you'd think there are multiple people coming down the trail as I ask myself questions and promptly answer them.

For whatever reason if I progress to singing it has to be a parody.
Other trail favorites include:

"Bears are always on my mind" (Willie Nelson)
"You ain't nothing but a groundhog" (Elvis) Usually when marmots are around
"Switch Backs from Hell" (AC/DC)

There are others. . . its amazing I see anything from the trail!

Bob Seger's Travelin' Man/Beautiful Loser medley the other day in Cache Creek, YNP or just about anything Springsteen, anytime.

While hiking out from Nakai Peaks in RMNP one night, I sang the entire Fleetwood Mac Mirage album.

Haha those sound awesome!
Switch Backs from Hell sounds very appealing lol

I'll often sing I Want to Be An Airborne Ranger out loud if I'm out alone at dusk or in the dark and coming up on a curve on the trail.

I'm pretty sure if a bear or mountain lion was within hearing distance, it would eat me for singing instead of run away.

The Horse Put His Foot on the Ground is also an excellent choice.

Okay, just got back from Yosemite and there was too much pressure around what song I normally sing, so I couldn't remember haha.
However, one song that I ALWAYS sing, not because it gets stuck in my head, but because I NEED it to continue is 'Put One Foot in Front of the Other' from the movie Santa Claus is Coming to Town.
