We’re heading into the Teton Wilderness for 9 days in late July. Very much looking forward to this trip and this very wild portion of the lower 48.
As of now we’re thinking of starting out at Deer Creek, heading over to Thorofare Creek and down the drainage and then head up and over to the north fork of the Yellowstone and working our way towards Marston Pass and the Buffalo Plateau and possibly over to Bliss creek meadows and back out via the south fork of the Shoshone river or possibly up to Cougar Pass and figuring out a route back that way. I haven’t ruled out heading over to Ferry Lake either and maybe up to to the Two Ocean area and then follow the Thorofare back to Deer Creek. Any suggestions would be hugely appreciated.Welcome to BCP!!
Be sure to come back here and report on that trip! That's one of my favorite places! What area of the wilderness are you planning on visiting?
