So i just created an account after reading all of this thread. I dont remember now what i was going to search when i came across this, but i remember thinking that this episode seemed to have some... interesting discrepancies when i first saw it. I should note that i am a utah native and have spent a good bit of time wandering around. Mostly the south face uintas, but ive hiked through a good bit of southern utah as well. Im unsuprised by your findings. And astonished by the amount of work you all did to investigate this. Great work. It will now be easy to prove to a buddy i watched the episode with that i was right, they really were less than 5 miles from good roads much of the time. Lol. Again great work. Do you think that his uintas trip will be as.... edited as this one?
