Tonight's sunset here featured a prominent light pillar that lasted for quite some time. It was larger earlier in the course of the sunset, but naturally I wasn't in a good place to stop and take a picture at that time.
Head down, I was busy last week clearing the roof of an outbuilding at the ski lodge when I noticed a glow in the air. Jumped down and ran to grab the camera, but might have missed the best of it. Lesson; never be without!
