Specimen Creek Fall

Hey @Bob, my group might have been the last ones to stay at that campsite before you two. Lots of widowmakers where we set our tents up on the south side of the trail near the willows. Did you use all the firewood we left you?

We had a couple of moose visit us while there. Did you see any?

I really liked the site for a September/October trip. Not sure I'd like it in July or August though if the bugs were numerous.
 
No moose, just red squirrels, used some of the wood. We set tent south, but not by all the dead stuff (which I know you like)
 
How cold did it get? I just tried a late season mountain trip in CO and bailed after it was 10-15 degrees colder than forecasted. Texans don't do well in the teens.

lol ...... dont know but water bottle was half fozen in tent in the morning.
