Today we paid a visit to the Flight 93 Memorial near Shanksville, PA. Wow.


Tower of Voices. 93 feet tall. Wind chimes.


The Memorial Wall with the names of the Cory individuals who lost their lives on 9/11. The walkway follows the flight path of the plane and the impact site is beyond the wooden gate.

The Memorial Wall from further up the hill. The boulder in the distance marks the impact site.


The visitor center up on the hill.

Thanks for sharing - we've driven past the exit many times on the PA turnpike but haven't taken the time to go there.
