Surfing the internet, I found a nice article about Texas outdoor charities for kids. The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department has provided $750,00 to 22 programs across the state. absolutly, I am all for anything that gets kids away from the over stimulation of electronics and gets them to use their imagination. I have said it before, I will do just about anything to get my kids outside and away from the electronics, provided weather and time before work allows as well as my pulling myself from the couch too. As I get older, I am getting lazier, so I use the kids as my excuse to myself to get outside more.
