Snow! Share with me.

Awesome!! Love the snow pics. We ran in the Color Me Rad race yesterday and froze our butts off but had fun. Today we can see snow in Zion and on Pine Valley Mountain. I hope you guys get hit hard this year. We are coming up in February to ski and I WANT A TON OF SNOW!!!! So I have wished it every time it snows you can blame it on me. :D

How's the snowpocalypse treating everyone today? I think we're well over 2 feet at my house in Cottonwood Heights now. Definitely the single biggest snow producing storm we've experienced in more than 4 years of living at this house.

I have a little over 2' for a storm total as well at my house at the top of Parley's. Pretty much a typical amount here though. I average over 200" a year so 24" storms are not uncommon. Besides Big Red (the Honda snowblower) for the handwork, here is the Big Iron for the driveway (pic from a previous year). Tractor Momma hard at work....TractorMomma.jpg :

It's pretty crazy. You saw my picture of coaching a football game in it yesterday :).

Last Saturday was a good snowshoeing day. My 'hike' was just through the adjoining football fields of a Pleasant Grove elementary and middle school, but the full circumference around these fields is probably at least 3/4 mile. Three trips around and I was beginning to tire a bit. Definitely need more practice before I venture into the canyons. Sure love these Crescent Moon snowshoes, though!

Thanks Nick! Zion is my absolute favorite in the snow. Hardly a soul in the park compared to the tourist season. Snow on red rock, spending time with my daughter. Blissful day.
