Lots of clouds rolling in and out when I went up to Lake Blanche today. Lots of snow on the ground too. Nearly had the place to myself.

RMNP yesterday. All I could think was man it looks angry up there. There were 20-35mph winds in the meadow I can't imagine what the winds were at the top!

I got some snowshoes for Christmas and tried them out along Ford Creek near Price Canyon. There was two or three feet of snow and I was breaking trail the entire way up...exhausting!
