you got lucky then... it varies wildly.
That's what I hear. There were no obstacles either, the normal drywall was completely buried in sand. For comparison, Swett Creek on the same trip was dry as a bone and it's often very wet through the obstacles.

A shot from the depths of Leprechaun Canyon from this past weekend. We were the first to descend it just hours after a flood. This canyon is normally almost completely dry but it was tip-top full for us.
