Sid's Mountain Loop

Really liked reading this one with my lunch today. Very good.

randomly, it looks like there is a reasonably year-round water source on Sid's Mountain, about a click NE of the Kofford Cabin. there's even a pic in 4th edition of Kelsey's Swell book, which makes it look *very* cowed up. we did not visit it. it shows up clearly on google earth too.

(correction: straight north, not NE. had not accounted for non-north-oriented map)

This is a mashup of two routes in Allen and Mitchell's 2010 book about the Northern San Rafael Swell.

Hey, thanks for this by the way. VSC exit seems straightforward. If I ever get to the head of the right fork of VSC, and Cane Wash crossover, I'll be sure to share. Contemplating a Nov return to southern Utah, though I usually reserve that month for the Mojave. I am too responsible for this, or too scared, but if I quit my job around Oct 1st I could do both!
