So is top notch wine standard fare on your backpacking adventures? If so, I'd like to volunteer to be the wine mule on your next trip...

Ha! Only sometimes. We'll take wine on a one or two night trip. Longer than that, and the weight just isn't worth it, Then again, if we had a trail mule willing to tote numerous bottles...:p

On a slightly more serious note, we have saved a few of those plastic wine bottles they use on airlines. They weigh SO much less than glass, but still more or less protect the wine. We just fill them up (excuse me--we DECANT the wine into those bottles) before we leave home.

Haha if you ever need 187mL PET bottles, I can get you some. :)20191203_171443.jpg

You've given me an idea for my next trip. Re-purpose my plastic bottles with wineDSC_1027.JPG
