I’m writing these words in the aftermath of the death of our friend in an attempt to make some sense of the last few days, as well as to tell the details of the events up to and after Chason Russell’s death on the Crystal River.

Oh man, I was up there camping at the Redstone campground, which is right next to where he drowned. It was roaring pretty good. Have been following the story. Such a tragedy. That opinion piece is so well written. He must've been dearly loved by many.
