I realized after looking at images on my computer that I need a larger depth of field for photos like this if I want the rocks to be sharp along with the reflections of the more distant trees. I was thinking of focusing on the surface of the water and a shallow depth of field, kind of stupid in retrospect But, I still like the photo

Lower Lena Lake during a cold snap we had a few years ago. I think the mercury topped out at 15 degrees Fahrenheit for a week. Had to deal with a lot of ice on the trail from runoff and seepage.
