Not very wilderness (this is a developed lake here in eastern NE, I was about 30 yards from the parking lot) but you have to make do sometimes! Taken yesterday during an afternoon of fishing.

Here's a phone pic I didn't post in my trip report. I was standing on the trunk of my (rental) car (shh, don't tell them) directly outside the pedestrian entrance to Zion.

Test run with the LifeProof Nuud Iphone case. Condensation gave it an almost Instagram-like effect. Scary beautiful fun in the Russell Fork Gorge, VA/KY.

Weird that you got that condensation with the nuud. I really liked mine when I had it but I haven't put one on my 6+ yet.

I had it in my PFD so it was constantly wet, add in the cold water and hot air temps. I think it was mostly on the outside, I had to wipe it off to take a shot. I like the case, this will do for quick and dirty whitewater pics.

Who says you can't find sandstone arches (they call it a natural bridge but I didn't really see a waterway) in the east?





I like to think that 10,000 years ago this all looked just like Moab, albeit with a different color of sandstone.

Where is that? Looks like the Red River Gorge here in KY, it has the largest concentration of natural arches outside of Arches NP.

It's the Sewanee Natural Bridge just outside of Sewanee, TN. Big South Fork has several arches, too. I guess that whole area of the Plateau has a lot of arches.

Some time around midnight on Saturday night in Glen Canyon. That's the Steel Belts on the left playing some phenomenal campfire music. On the right is our own @Christian talking to the legendary Bill Wolverton. What a night. I hope the Glen Canyon Institute does this year after year from now on.
