Pebble Creek, Yellowstone National Park - August 14, 2020

Um, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but Wolverine Peak is more than 3 miles from the Wyoming/MT border. The Bliss Pass trail does cross it as does the Pebble Creek trail.

Any chance you'd recall if you guys had a planned route to get up Wolverine Peak, or did you just come up the drainage & wing it?

Thinking about making my way up there in August this year.

We just followed the drainage up, and then followed one of the ridges to the top. You won't have any issues. Not sure what month you are doing this, but when we hiked to the summit in mid August there were plenty of strawberries to eat along the way until we started heading up the ridge.

Here is the route we took:

Thanks so much!

We're starting out August 8 this year. If we end up doing both nights at 3P5, I'll probably give this a go.

Pretty open on the north side of Pebble Creek. The Storm Creek fire burned thru there.
