Middle Lake

Watched a loon and her two chicks for a while on Middle Lake. Will post some pics after Jackie downloads them from her fancy camera.

Today’s hike took us to Clockmill Pond in the southern Adirondacks. Watched one loon fishing until an immature bald eagle showed up … the loon started calling his/her partner and they booked it to the other end of the “pond” where we couldn’t see them. It was a very pleasant day to be out hiking!
