This isn't exactly new news, but it's new to me, so thought I'd post and see what people think. It looks like Google announced plans to kill off Panaramio back in September and replace it with Google Views. From what I've read, the Panaramio community is not happy and the founders of the site have gone so far as to start a petition to keep the site alive.
It seems like Views will do basically the same thing, but perhaps dilute relevant photos with more junk? Existing Panaramio photos can be migrated over, but not comments. Any opinions on this? Ironically, after using it as a resource for years and thinking I should for quite some time, I just started posting to Panaramio last night.
