One More Short Adirondack Hike ...

After canoeing Taylor Pond in the morning, I decided to take a short hike up Mount Gilligan near Elizabethtown. 2.6 miles r/t and in typical Adirondack fashion, much of the trail is straight uphill. This trail is also part of the Champlain Area Trails (CAT) system. Several open rock overlooks providing great views of Giant Mountain & Rocky Peak Ridge.
