This was our 2nd attempt hiking Notch Peak. The first time was in April and we got caught in a blizzard. Notch Peak is a lonely peak. Twice when we went there, we did not see another person. Notch Peak is a distinctive summit located on Sawtooth Mountain west of Delta, Utah. It is considered to be the highest peak reaching 9,654 feet above sea level. The hike is about 7.5 miles round trip with 2,600 elevation gain.
