I was canoeing the east shore of the lake eleven years ago and on our first break from paddling on the first day, I stood up and it fell out of my chest case and into the lake. :eek: I was crushed! It kind of put a damper on the rest of the trip. Well after a year of drying out, it started to work again and I occasionally take it with me now on some hikes, though I usually use my EOS M now. I just need to remember to zip up the chest case all the way. :)

It might take me a few weeks to get the report up though. Once I get back to town from the trip, I've got to turn around and take my daughter up to Portland where she will be starting her Freshman year at Lewis and Clark College.

No specific photos, it just sounded like a really cool trip when you mentioned it before. Keep the camera dry :)
 
Thanks for the share! Love seeing all the bars and food. That makes for a happy time.
I have never seen an eagle in the wild, now I know where to go :) Oh wait...lied, yes I have...but I would like to see one again with my camera handy.
