While I covered the backpacking portion of our recent trip there (http://backcountrypost.com/forum/threads/tobacco-root-north-meadow-creek-trip.3702/), part of the fun available with that location is certainly the Jeep trail that wasn't given much coverage in that thread. Here is 40 something years of adventures on FS Road 965.
Revenue Flats, early 90's. This was the usual gig in those days-my mountaineering skis, the wife's fly rod.
Near the Revenue Spires, 1993.
Cliff Lake, 1986.
Stopped by snow, July 4th, 1970. Skied in from that point.
At the New Deal Mine, about 1990.
A little mud, 1983.
A little problem with one of the bridges, also 1983. Friend got the wheel out past the bridge stringer and the deck broke off as in foreground.
A fine August day at Upper Twin Lake, 1993.
What the skis were for. Cliff Lake, 1981.
More mud and why figure eight wrapping extra winch cable around the front bumper isn't always a good idea.
And a couple from the digital era. Some very nice rock gardens.
